Haylee: Mom, am I irish?
Me: No, you have some scottish in you and some german.
Haylee: Scottish? What does that mean? What do they do?
Me: uhhhh...they play the bagpipes.
Haylee: (indignantly) And wear plaid????
Me: yes, they wear plaid.
Haylee: (who used to despise plaid and refuse to wear anything plaid) Well, honestly mom I can say I'm starting to like plaid. Just a little bit though.

...... I don't even know how to answer that! That's one of those if a tree falls in the forrest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound questions. lol
